DISTRICT HEATING, TRI-GENERATION AND RENEWABLE ENERGY

The management of energy resources, now also a topic of interest in the public opinion, was a niche issue when STEAM faced its first projects several decades or so ago, although, even then, it anticipated the future needs of its Clients. Still today, STEAM focuses on the need to save energy, especially in designing power plants. The demand for heavy investment requires a pragmatic long-term view, where benefits in terms of consumption and avoided emissions must necessarily be reflected in financial savings and limited maintenance costs. STEAM has accumulated an installed operational base of hundreds of megawatts in the cogeneration and trigeneration field for complex building projects and for district heating systems in urban areas.
